Before joining the Speaking Club, every student will complete a 15-minute online language assessment with Roots. This helps make sure the group level is suitable and every student can participate confidently.

Take the Speaking Assessment FirstEach class focuses on one real-life topic. You will receive preparation materials before class, discuss with learners from different countries during class, and complete short homework after class to review useful expressions.

Compare habits, communication styles, and social expectations.
Learn useful expressions for opinions, trends, and online culture.

Students receive preparation materials so they can think about the topic and prepare useful vocabulary before joining the discussion.
The class uses topic-based discussion, debate, explanation, and guided speaking practice with correction and support from Roots.
Students complete related homework to review expressions, organize ideas, and continue practicing after the conversation.
Before enrollment, students will have a 15-minute online language assessment with Roots to make sure they have enough speaking ability to join the group.
Speaking Club access is valid for 3 months after purchase. Once the group has been arranged and the class time has been confirmed, the schedule cannot be changed. A full refund is available before the group is successfully arranged. After the group is arranged and the class time is confirmed, refunds are not available.
